Venue

Trappeze Pub is located at 269 N Hull Street in the heart of downtown Athens, Georgia, just steps from the University of Georgia and surrounded by the city’s best music, food, and nightlife.

Your rental includes exclusive use of The Cask Room or The Abbey Room (or both), along with private bar access, tables and chairs, setup and cleanup by our team, a dedicated serving staff, and use of our in-house A/V system and Wi-Fi.

The Cask Room seats up to 60 guests (80 standing), while The Abbey Room accommodates 38 seated (50 standing). Combined, the spaces host up to 90 seated or 130 for cocktail-style gatherings.

Trappeze Pub features two newly renovated private event spaces:

  • The Cask Room – a warm, rustic space with exposed brick, rich wood tones, and a private bar.
  • The Abbey Room – a boutique lounge-style room with cozy booths, soft lighting, and its own bar setup.

You can reserve one or both rooms depending on your group size and event style.

All events take place indoors, so rain or shine, your celebration stays comfortable within our fully climate-controlled restaurant and event space.

Yes! You’re welcome to bring in simple table décor that fits your event theme. We simply ask that you avoid anything that could damage the space (no nails, confetti, or open flames). Our team can provide décor guidance if needed.

Both private rooms feature warm ambient overhead lighting with sconces and accent lighting that complements both daytime and evening events.

Our staff handles all setup and teardown, so you can focus on enjoying your event.

We’re located in downtown Athens, so public parking lots, garages, and street parking are available nearby.

Planning

Yes! Trappeze hosts private brunches and daytime celebrations — perfect for showers, meetings, or post-wedding get-togethers.

Yes — our professional serving and bartending team is included with every private event.

We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance for smaller gatherings and 2–3 months ahead for larger or seasonal events. Our team will help finalize your menu and timeline as your event date approaches.

We welcome background music, playlists, or small live acoustic sets. We follow Athens’ city noise ordinances, so full bands or late-night amplified performances cannot be scheduled here.

Yes! All standard furniture, including tables and chairs, is included in your rental.
